Our barbeque is familiar and still unlike any barbeque you have ever had. We pay homage to the many great pit masters who have gone before us and put our own kiss on every meal we serve. The approach is simple: source the best quality ingredients we can and donʼt fuss with them too much. We cook our barbeque the old school way with plenty of wood and time, adding just the right amount of salt and spice to let that lovely marriage of process and product evolve into something transcendent. You will find yourself making strange noises while eating our food...
Mighty Quinnʼs borrows from the great barbeque traditions of the past to create our own style of 'Q.
We bring together the best of all great BBQ techniques to create something uniquely its own. The process begins with the best, all-natural meats and poultry, seasoned with perfect spice blends and then smoked with wood for many, many hours until the perfect harmony of smoke, flavor and time emerges. Our food is steeped in tradition but given new life. BBQ was created in the South but Mighty Quinn's Barbeque was born in NYC!
Mighty Quinn’s is one of the first authentic barbeque experiences in a fast casual setting. Amazing food,
great atmosphere, quick service, convenient locations
and ready to please.
Mighty Quinn's is committed to sustainable building.
The wood tables, bars and wall surfaces in all of our locations have been constructed from reclaimed wood sourced from various renovation or salvage projects around New York City. We also reuse a significant portion of the preexisting interior structures of the restaurants that we build.
Pit Master Hugh Mangumʼs journey into the world of barbeque began many years ago as a child in his fatherʼs home base of Houston, Texas. Exploring the gritty, local legends of barbeque fame was a favorite activity. Fond memories of palate altering meals and a deep admiration for the soul of real barbeque have led Hugh on a personal quest for slow smoked perfection. Many years and copious piles of wood later Mighty Quinnʼs New York style of barbeque represents Hugh's craft and his desire to make people happy eating slow smoked goodness.
